{"id":340,"date":"2015-07-02T00:03:03","date_gmt":"2015-07-02T00:03:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/veteranslawproject.org\/?p=340"},"modified":"2015-07-02T00:03:03","modified_gmt":"2015-07-02T00:03:03","slug":"veterans-law-project-legal-boots-on-the-ground-provides-legal-defense-for-veterans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vfnh.org\/veteranslawproject\/2015\/07\/02\/veterans-law-project-legal-boots-on-the-ground-provides-legal-defense-for-veterans\/","title":{"rendered":"Veterans Law Project Legal Boots on the Ground Provides Legal Defense for Veterans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>We are the Veterans Law Project, a 501c3 dba of the Veterans Foundation of NH.\u00a0\u00a0 Our effort is to\u00a0&#8220;raise the Bar,&#8221; providing legal resources to NH veterans wherever they can be reached.\u00a0 From child and family support, to employment, housing, health care, criminal cases, small business development and beyond, our effort targets New Hampshire&#8217;s veterans and military families making a dynamic impact in local communities.\u00a0 The VLP is on track to assist over 500 veterans per year, many of whom are disabled, parents of minors, and typically working NH residents.<\/p>\n<p>The Veterans Law Project (VLP) is a subsidiary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vfnh.org\/\">Veterans Foundation of New Hampshire, Inc.<\/a>\u00a0 Launched in Manchester, NH on January 5, 2015.\u00a0 We provide in-house legal services and consultation at no cost to the veteran, pro bono and reduced fee attorney referrals and resources.\u00a0 This is accomplished by employing highly experience, qualified veteran legal professionals, attorneys and paralegal support who have an understanding of the unique needs of veterans.\u00a0 This provides an indispensable comfort level for individuals served who can speak to someone who has worn the uniform.<\/p>\n<p>The VFNH, Inc.
